What if my data cannot be recovered?
We will attempt to recover your data, however there are times where files cannot be recovered. This might be due to virus attack or even physical damage which we cannot repair. In these circumstances we will return your device to you and no further fee, other than the evaluation cost, will be charged.
What about my privacy?
Your privacy is very important so we make sure your data is safe. Under the Data Protection Act once your data has been returned to you and safe receipt has been acknowledged, we will securely wipe any data we have stored. Please be aware that under UK law any materials found in relation to child exploitation will be handed immediately over to the police.
My PC won't switch on. Help!
Depending on your location we can visit and assess the damage. We will either take your hard disc away for recovery, or your PC. Where we cannot visit we suggest you ask a professional to remove your hard drive for you. Local computer stores may remove your drive for you, though there may be a fee involved.
Can I pay by cheque?
Yes. Cash or cheque are both fine. If paying by cheque we will wait until your payment has cleared before returning your data/goods.
Can I pay using PayPal?
Yes. We will email you an invoice which includes a PayPal link.
Can I send you my device?
Yes. Please contact us and we will send you a form which you must complete and sign, and include when sending your device. You can also download this file from the 'File Download' tab above. When packing your device we recommend you register it with the Post Office. Make sure it is well-packed using bubble-wrap, have a return address on the package, and make sure it is taped up well.
